Description

100% Organic Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss. Sphagnum Peat Moss is extremely compressed and will expand when rehydrated, so I sell by weight, not by volume. Soak the moss in water to rehydrate it. Peat moss is water retentive and aerative. Be sure to use pure water if growing sensitive carnivorous plants. Peat should be mixed with other amendments before potting plants. Peat moss is slightly acidic and can help balance alkaline soils. Check out my Peat/Perlite mix for a pre-made carnivorous plant safe substrate.
