This tree bark is perfect for using alone as bark for planting or re-potting your orchids as well as a soilless medium for creating your own orchid potting mix with other media such as charcoal, perlite, and more. Various pine and pine barks will work with varying degrees of success with orchids. However, for best results, we choose to use pine bark pieces from mature Loblolly and Southern Yellow Pine trees that will provide even chunks to provide enough aeration.
