I'm selling my rather amazing collection of retro, modernist and brutalist rings, necklaces and bracelets, all in time for Christmas. These have come from all over the world including the USA, Mexico, Denmark, Germany and Australia. And UK obviously!! Where possible I've researched the maker and date, but often with artisan handmade items that isn't always easy/possible. I'm not a gemologist, but have tested any gemstones as far as I can and also check back to the provenance from when I bought them. The silver is hallmarked and/or tested. The beauty of 85+ shimmering moonstones really is quite something. Such a simple design, a waterfall of glistening gems. Which is the very devil to photograph!! Labradorite, a mineral of the feldspar group, has many distinctive and exotic varieties which are considered gemstones. Rainbow moonstone is technically a labradorite variety. Moonstones have phantoms of flash! As you turn the stone the flash of color, the mysterious sheen, moves around the gem, appearing and disappearing. Moonstones are orthoclase feldspar with a sheen called adularescence. Postage and packing. The safest way to send any jewellery is enclosed in a box, otherwise delicate items can easily be crushed. So in the P&P I've allowed for a box and safe packaging. PLEASE don't compromise your beautiful jewellery by having it packed in a Jiffy bag.
